How to export Facebook friends and followers to CSV or Excel

Export friends, followers, or following from any visible Facebook profile as a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file.

The short version

Open Friends and Followers Exporter, choose a list type, enter a profile URL or ID, review the results, then choose CSV or Excel (.xlsx) from the Export menu.

Export a Facebook profile list in four steps

Step 1

Open the extension

Install Friends and Followers Exporter, then click its icon in your browser toolbar.

Step 2

Choose what to export

Choose Friends, Followers, or Following, then enter the Facebook profile URL or ID you want to use.

Step 3

Review the results

The extension will collect the visible profiles and show the results. Review the list and remove anything you do not want to export.

Step 4

Choose a format and download

Open the Export menu and choose CSV (.csv) or Excel (.xlsx). Both formats include the same fields. XLSX preserves profile IDs and phone numbers as text. Open the file in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers.
