Information the extension processes
When you start an export, the extension processes information from the Facebook friends, followers, or following list visible to your account. This can include profile names, profile links, avatar URLs, and a profile URL or ID that you enter.
Where processing happens
Extraction runs inside your browser. Requests needed to read the selected visible list are sent to Facebook using your existing Facebook session. The developer does not receive the profile rows collected by the extension.
Storage and exports
Collected profile rows are stored in browser session storage while you review them. The CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file is generated on your device and remains wherever you save it until you delete it. Preferences and a random browser identifier are stored locally until cleared or the extension is removed; disabling the extension does not necessarily delete them. We receive the browser identifier, usage event names, timestamps, and event details to understand feature usage. Information about your signed in Facebook profile, Facebook profiles of people you are exporting from or the resulting exported profile rows is never sent to our server.
Detailed Mode
Detailed Mode reads additional information visible to your Facebook account, including gender, birthday, email, phone, location, bio, category, and websites. This happens in your browser, and the collected profile rows are not sent to our server.
Your account and subscription
When you log in, we use your email address to create your account and check your subscription. Email sign-in codes are delivered through Resend. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your verified email address and account identifier. The extension saves login credentials so you can stay signed in and usage events can be associated with your Lead Utils account (NOT Facebook account). Creem handles checkout and billing; we store subscription details to provide access to Detailed Mode.
Third-party services
Facebook, Google, Resend, Creem, and Cloudflare provide services used by the extension and have their own terms and privacy practices. Friends and Followers Exporter is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facebook or Meta.
How we use and share information
We use account and subscription information to authenticate you, provide paid features, manage billing, and prevent abuse. We use usage events to understand and improve the extension. If you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you include to respond to your request. Hosting and network providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. We share information with service providers as needed for these purposes, and when required by law or to protect legal rights. We do not sell exported profile data.
Retention and your choices
We retain account, subscription, usage, and support records as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Signing out clears locally stored login credentials; uninstalling does not delete server records or cancel a subscription. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, or to object to processing where applicable. We may verify your identity and retain records required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes. Include your account email and, for usage-record requests, your browser identifier if available.
International processing and security
Our service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. We use access controls and authentication to protect account information, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, or payment-card details to support.
Children and policy changes
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided account information. We may update this policy as the service changes and will publish the revised policy with its updated date.
Your responsibility
Only export and use information that you are permitted to access. You are responsible for how you store, share, and use any export file you create.
